An Update

Sometimes change is welcomed.

The Ingleside Quilt has been my best selling quilt since it’s release in 2021. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure! It was designed to use precuts of every type! Charm Packs, Layer Cakes, Fat Quarters - you name it! It’s the perfect quilt to showcase a fabric collection or all of your favorite prints.

The original sample of this quilt used the Whatnot collection from Rashida Coleman Hale for Ruby Star Society. It was full of fun prints and beautiful blues and greens. However, as my business has grown, I’ve been working on building out a cohesive palette of fabrics to display my designs. I’ve been prepping to display at the 2026 H+H Americas Craft Industry show and while building my catalog, I noticed that Ingleside needed an upgrade.

I was able to use all of my favorite colors against a black background to showcase this best selling design. It feels just right against my body of work and I am so proud of the finished product.

This upgrade would not have been possible without the help of some very talented quilters in the field. Bailey Wilson Collins (Copper and Citrus) helped me bring this sample to life with her stellar craftsmanship and I was able to work with my local long armer, Dana Miller of Coastside Quilt Studio, to help me quilt it. We used the City of Fountains pantograph and it just finished it beautifully.
