I’m almost embarrassed to say how long it took me to learn about chain piecing, but let’s just say I made many quilts one seam at a time. When chain piecing became a part of my quilter’s skill set, my ability to create became a whole heck of a lot more efficient. Check out this demo for how to best chain piece your Large Blocks to help bring them together quickly and accurately!

Here I show you how to piece the Large Blocks. I didn’t chain piece all of my blocks in this video, but I recommend you should! This demonstration will give you some insider pressing tips to help those ribbons lay super flat against the background fabric!

Here, I walk you through how to cut your Large Block in half (not as scary as it seems!) and use some pressing methods to help you keep that block as flat as possible. Please note that you may have some pulling of your block here and there, but do not fret. This will resolve itself as you finish up your quilt!
